DAY 1: Arrival in Sindhudurg

Upon arrival at your home-stay in Sindhudurg, you will be warmly welcomed by your Indian host family with a traditional garland and tikka. Your hosts will then assist you with the registration procedure and show you to your room. Upon settling in you will be taken around the home-stay property and given the opportunity to meet and mingle with your host family. After getting to know one another you will have a delicious lunch together. After lunch you can choose to depart for an optional ‘experience’ of your choice or spend the day relaxing at your home-stay and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. In the evening you will enjoy another home cooked dinner and of course a truly relaxing nights’ sleep.

DAY 2: A boat ride in the backwaters; A barbeque dinner

Wake up to the smell of a freshly cooked breakfast and enjoy the aromas of an Indian kitchen. After breakfast, you will head out to the waterfalls. These are all year round waterfalls with natural pools to bathe in. So take your costumes and dive in the cool waters. After a relaxing time head back to your home-stay for a tasty lunch. The afternoon is free for you to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. In the evening you can visit the beach and watch the sun go down. Come back for a barbeque Indian dinner before heading off to bed.

DAY 3: Massage and rejuvenation

Today you can spend the entire morning relaxing your mind and body. An ayurvedic massage and a soothing  bath to soothe your senses. Have a scrumptious lunch with your host family, laze in the afternoon. Evening take a leisure walk to the market. In the evening, head back to your home-stay for a delicious dinner prepared by your host family and another peaceful nights’ sleep.

DAY 4:  A day at leisure

DAY 5: Departure from Sawantwadi

Today you can sleep in and wake up to have a relaxed breakfast with your host family. After you finish your meal it will be time to pack up your belongings, say your goodbyes to your gracious host family and depart for your onward journey home, surely with many wonderful memories from your trip.
