Celebration with Elephant God

Our up coming package for the next season is Celebration with Elephant God. A time where happiness and prosperity celebrates the beginning of our new journeys in life. Come witness a joyous occasion in a rural land with the warm welcome of our villages and performance of the local participation in every home. An itinerary to give you an idea of what we have to offer. 

Day 1: Arrive in the afternoon. Register and Check in at the Home stay. Lunch with our host family. Early evening proceed to a home where all the preparations for the festival are taking place. Be a part with them in decorating the Pandal, garland making, preparing the delicacies of the elephant god. After which return to your home stay for Dinner. Overnight at the home stay.

Day 2: Early Morning breakfast. After breakfast be a part of a family as they welcome Lord Ganesha into their homes. Participate in their pooja ceremony. You will have your 1st day pooja lunch with the family. Afternoon return back to your home stay. Have a relaxed afternoon. Evening we take you to the Ganesh Idol maker where he shows his creation. Have an interactive session and view the various models of his creation. After the visit to the Ganesh Idol maker, proceed for the Cultural show of Lord Ganesha’s Bhajans and Aarti. Return back to the home stay. Dinner at the home stay. Overnight at the home stay.

Day 3: Breakfast at the home stay. After breakfast proceed to the culinary activity which is done in a traditional home. Assist the host family in preparing the sweets and other food items that is liked by Lord Ganesha and served to Him during the festival. Afternoon return to the home stay where the lunch will be served. After lunch view the emersion (visarjan) of the Lord Ganesha. Evening proceed to the Pinguli Village. A village dominated by the Thakar adivasis. They are known for the Pinguli Puppet and the shadow puppetry. Later view the Cultural show which is the Pinguli Puppet show. After the show, return to your home stay. Dinner at the home stay. Overnight at the home stay.

Day 4: Breakfast in the morning. Check out of the home stay. Brunch will be served in the home stay. After brunch proceed for your onward journey.
